Social Events

SISTERHOODS: Sisterhoods are the best way for us to spend time together outside of classes, meals, and meetings! Our Director of Sisterhoods organizes 4-6 sisterhoods a semester to help us bond. Some fun examples are Cycling Classes, Apple Orchard Trips, Pumpkin Painting, Starbucks, and Gingerbread House Competitions, among many others!

EXCHANGES: The Greek Life community on campus is amazing, and we love to connect with other chapters through exchanges put on by our Director of Social Events! Past exchanges have included Feed My Starving Children, Scavenger Hunts, Bouquet Making, and Yoga Classes with other fraternities and sororities on campus. 

DATE PARTIES: Our Director of Special Events organizes one date party each semester, and we could not have more fun! Date parties are usually themed, with past themes being Casino, Jungle, Dynamic Duos, and more. These events are held off-campus and each DG member gets to bring a date or friend to enjoy the night with!

FORMALS: In addition to date parties, Spring and Fall Formals are put on by our Director of Special Events. These events are not themed but rather an excuse for Lambda members to dress up and celebrate the end of the semester with our sisters! Past venues where DG Formal has made its mark include U.S. Bank Stadium and Union Rooftop.
