Philanthropy Events
VISION WALK: For many years, Lambda members have volunteered at the annual Vision Walk, put on by Foundation Fighting Blindness. DGs help set up and tear down the event, walk the route with participants, serve food, entertain, and more! We love spending time bonding with our sisters by volunteering at this event so early in the year!
ANCHOR GAMES: Our annual fall philanthropy event, Anchor Games, is a dodgeball tournament hosted by Delta Gamma at the University of Minnesota. DG members coach teams made up of friends from other Greek organizations and clubs on campus. Players pay to play, and the winners are rewarded with gift cards and bragging rights! This fall, the Delta Kappa Epsilon team took home the Anchor Games trophy in a nail-biting victory!
DG DINER (COMING UP! APRIL 10, 2025): During our second semester, we host our annual spring philanthropy event, DG Diner. From ticket and raffle sales, we raise money that goes to Service for Sight, Delta Gamma's philanthropy, and other local nonprofits that support vision loss, like Foundation Fighting Blindness and the Minnesota Association of Blind Students. Come join us this spring for food, games, raffles, music, and more!
