Letter from Recruitment Chair

Dear Potential New Members,

My name is Sofia Sanchez, and I am the Vice President of Membership for the Lambda Chapter of Delta Gamma at the University of Minnesota. I am so excited to extend a warm welcome on behalf of all our members. We are all eager to share our love for our sisters, community, and philanthropy with all potential new members. We look forward to highlighting our unique bonds and strong commitment to fulfilling Delta Gamma's message of ‘Doing Good’ through this upcoming fall formal recruitment process.

Our chapter welcomes all members into an authentic environment built on friendship, responsibility, education, and character. The sisterhoods formed through this chapter are simply one of a kind. The bonds formed last a lifetime, and you are committed to being a friend always to any member. We are made up of women from many different backgrouds, all with different end goals, but are brought together by shared values within themselves. Our chapter is filled with women who will remind you to be your best self, while encouraging you to be unapologetically you.  

Delta Gamma provides us as members our philanthropy, Service for Sight, where we work with Foundation Fighting Blindness. We are grateful for the opportunity to support peers, community members, and classmates through our service. With that being said, we are excited to meet you and share what Delta Gamma and the concept of Doing Good mean to all of us.
